Contract | Night Shift | Expected 48 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a float pool covering Med/Oncology, two surgical units, and two medical units within a large 128-bed Med/Surg department
• Manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio in a total care environment without dedicated PCAs
• Care for patients with a range of diagnoses including surgical services (colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, orthopedic) and medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, and kidney and GI conditions
• Perform occasional cardiac strip reading as needed; remote telemonitoring is available
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy for any RT equipment needs; RNs are not required to independently manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, or high-flow devices
• Float to any Med/Surg pod based on staffing needs as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Arkansas
• Current BLS certification required
• Current, relevant medical/surgical experience in a large hospital setting
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Availability to start on either the 10/12 or 10/26 start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in oncology, surgical, or multi-specialty Med/Surg environments
• Familiarity with remote telemonitoring and basic strip reading
• Experience with or willingness to transition to EPIC (facility transitioning in late 2026)
