Focus areas are consumer credit cards, P2P money transfer, stored value, and other consumer financial products. Core responsibilities for this role are to work with the Apple Card and Apple Cash product teams to develop long-term strategy, assess new growth opportunities, manage and coordinate large initiatives or investigations, and drive business planning. Projects might also include other areas within Wallets, Payments, and Commerce. The role will include market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and partnership evaluations. The person will engage and partner with existing leaders across the product team and Apple more broadly. Description We are looking for an experienced payments strategy professional to help shape the future of our financial products. In this role, you will move beyond analysis to drive strategic recommendations that directly influence our product roadmap and long-term growth. You will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, developing robust business cases, and leading key initiatives from concept to execution. As an influential member of our multi-functional teams, you will help guide strategic discussions and serve as a thought leader for the Apple Card and Apple Cash product areas, with opportunities to also engage on topics across Wallets, Payments, and Commerce. This role requires a strategic thinker who can blend analytical rigor with a strong business sense, formulate clear and compelling recommendations, and drive projects forward in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Strategic Finance, or a similar strategy and planning function in a global, fast-paced organization. Understanding of consumer payments capabilities, business models, and international market dynamics. Experience in financial and business case modeling, particularly in the payments industry, with the ability to build and defend sophisticated models that support strategic planning and investment. Adept at navigating ambiguity and structuring open-ended questions into clear, actionable frameworks, with a proactive mindset and high degree of ownership to drive projects independently. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate complex strategic concepts clearly to senior leadership and diverse audiences. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field from a top-tier institution or equivalent experience.
