Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at an HCA facility in Fredericksburg, TX, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Located on the first floor of an 84-bed hospital
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with a day shift team consisting of 1 CNC, 1 Cath Lab Tech, and 3 RNs
• Common procedures include Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Interventional Radiology
• Philips equipment used in the lab
• EMR: Meditech
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shift
• On-call rotation required for evenings and weekends
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform PCI and Interventional Radiology procedures in a collaborative Cath Lab setting
• Ideal candidate is personable, professional, and adaptable
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 1 year of recent specialty experience is required
