Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized care plans and documenting patient progress
- Support residents in achieving functional goals related to mobility, strength, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in long-term care environments
