Role Description The Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role located in Albemarle, NC. This position is responsible for greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and serving as the first point of contact for clients and guests. Daily tasks include managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining a tidy reception area. The Receptionist will support basic clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation, and will coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth office operations. This role requires consistent professionalism, discretion, and a client-centered approach. Qualifications Strong Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties skills, including managing multi-line phones and welcoming clients. Solid Clerical Skills, such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and basic document handling. Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and staff clearly and professionally. Customer Service skills with a focus on patience, empathy, and problem-solving in client-facing interactions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, word processing, and scheduling tools). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy office environment.
