Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift travel contract at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT, ARMRIT, or CRT certification.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital MRI department,
• Performs procedures in MRI, with additional modalities potentially including General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab, and CT,
• 3x12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM),
• Weekend-heavy schedule: Saturday and Sunday plus one variable weekday shift per week,
• Rotating on-call required,
• Variable weekend coverage,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging and at least one of the following modalities: Angio/Cath Lab, CT, or MRI,
• One of the following certifications required: ARRT (Radiography), ARMRIT (Certified MRI Technologist), or CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist),
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) required within 30 days of hire,
• Acute care hospital experience required,
• CA state license required if applicable,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

Additional Information

• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment,
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
