Matrimonial Law Paralegal

Our client is a well-established, full-service law firm with more than 120 attorneys providing sophisticated legal services across a wide range of practice areas. Known for its collaborative culture and client-focused approach, the firm is seeking an experienced Matrimonial Paralegal to join its growing Matrimonial Department in White Plains. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients while managing complex family law matters in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Support attorneys throughout all phases of matrimonial and family law matters Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, financial disclosure documents, and other legal filings Gather, organize, review, and summarize financial records and case-related documentation Maintain electronic and physical client files and ensure accurate recordkeeping Manage attorney calendars, court appearances, deadlines, meetings, and case workflow Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates, document requests, billing matters, and general case support Conduct client intakes and assist with opening new matters Prepare engagement letters and monitor retainer activity Enter attorney time, assist with billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable tracking Coordinate with attorneys and internal departments to ensure deadlines are met Provide administrative and litigation support as needed What We're Looking For 3–5 years of paralegal or legal support experience Experience in matrimonial or family law strongly preferred Experience preparing legal documents and organizing financial records Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment Strong interpersonal and client communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with legal billing, document management, or case management systems is a plus Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment Reliable, proactive, and collaborative team player Salary: $55,000–$75,000, based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Russell Tobin
