EMT or Paramedic (Clinic Manager)

Medcor is hiring a full‑time EMT or Paramedic to serve as the Clinic Manager at our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Caldwell, ID . Working hours are day or afternoon shift, with compensation ranging from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour. Responsibilities In this position you will provide oversight and support of clinic workflows, logistics, and scheduling, and be responsible for overall clinic operations. You will collaborate with key client stakeholders, including health, safety, environmental, HR, and benefits professionals, as well as medical and operational leadership at Medcor. This hands‑on management role includes patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work program support, treatment plan monitoring, OSHA record‑keeping, and close work with outside medical providers. Typical Day Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols) Build and maintain internal team relationships Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings Perform physical assessment testing (PATs) Manage case management activities Maintain OSHA record‑keeping Requirements Operationally lead and support a clinic team Valid licensure for the position and current CPR/BLS certification Strong computer and technology skills (e.g., EMR software, cell phones, texting, fax machines) Ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive and outgoing personality Willingness to go above and beyond Passion for people and delivering high‑quality care Ability to have fun while maintaining professionalism Preferred Experience in a worksite clinic environment Relevant occupational health experience Background in emergency medicine or critical care Benefits Benefits include paid time off, health and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, education reimbursement, and more.
