Travel Registered Nurse - LDRP

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This role requires the utilization of the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care during various phases of obstetrical care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership skills.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities effectively.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of prior travel experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• PALS certification required but can be procured within 30 days of start if needed.
• AWHONN certification preferred, which can be completed onsite.
• AHCA clearance required for Florida placements.
