Treasury Manager

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with an excellent family business to appoint an experienced Treasury Manager to join their established finance function. Operating within a dynamic and high-volume environment, this is a key position responsible for overseeing treasury activities across multiple business units, banking relationships and currencies. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining strong controls, ensuring effective liquidity management and supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives. This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced treasury professional seeking a broad and commercially focused role within a fast-paced and evolving organisation. The Role: Take ownership of treasury operations across a diverse group structure, ensuring robust controls and effective management of banking arrangements. Lead and develop the treasury team, ensuring reconciliations and reporting activities are completed accurately and on time. Manage complex cash flows and high-volume transactions, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve discrepancies. Ensure appropriate funding levels are maintained and support the effective management of liquidity across multiple currencies. Monitor short-term investments and foreign exchange exposures. Identify opportunities to enhance treasury processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a strong governance framework and ensure adherence to treasury policies and procedures. Act as a key contact for banking partners, auditors and external service providers. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to optimise cash management and improve treasury-related performance metrics. Produce regular treasury reporting and provide meaningful insight to support decision-making. Assist with treasury-related projects and provide analytical support where required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders. Lead, mentor and develop the treasury team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The Person: Previous experience in a senior treasury or treasury management role. Background operating within a high-volume and fast-moving environment. Strong understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management and banking structures. Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams. Strong analytical capabilities and excellent attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. A proactive and solutions-driven mindset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
