Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to support students in the Laurens, SC area. This is a full-time opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school district environment.

Qualifications:

Active South Carolina Special Education teaching certification
Experience in resource and/or self-contained classroom settings required or strongly preferred
Prior experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred
Strong ability to differentiate instruction across grade levels and abilities
Collaborative, flexible approach to working with school staff and families

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct instruction and academic support to students in resource and/or self-contained settings
Monitor and document student progress in accordance with district guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Ensure compliance with all district and state special education requirements
