Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an identified patient or patient group according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment information, and develop an evidence-based plan of care.
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• California Registered Nurse license (current) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor (per policy) required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training required
• Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
