About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 20:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Client Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Must-Have: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate. Description: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs technical procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist. The CT Technologist assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced trauma and academic medical environment. They utilize their specific modality to create diagnostic images and provide patients with a safe and positive experience. Technologists support teaching and continue learning as the technology changes for themselves and others. In addition to trauma and emergency room scanning, Technologists perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and those receiving intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures. The CT Technologist practices and enforces radiation safety measures in compliance with Client code.
