Carmel Country Club is seeking an organized, detail-oriented and personable Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant to support daily dining and event operations. This full-time position blends the back of the house operations and the front of the house to give the Events, and Food & Beverage Departments a polished front. Country Clubs are multi-faceted, robust facilities and this role is essential in pulling multiple areas together. This is a Tuesday through Saturday position, from 9:00AM-5:30PM, with occasional evening or weekend work requested on advanced notice.

Job Tasks/Duties:

• The Front Desk Reception's right-hand; fills in on breaks, takes over when main Receptionist is out for PTO, closes the Front Desk area daily, etc. These duties include answering phones, directing inquiries, greeting and directing guests upon arrival, calming member's concerns, and being a point-person for all Club-related questions.
• BEO work: Take a limited amount of member orders, create BEOs and make sure information makes it to the right place, distribute BEO packets weekly, and attend weekly BEO meetings
• Supports overall Club Communication
• Point person for holiday To-Go orders for membership
• Develop an awareness and understanding of allergens and dietary restrictions; constant communication with Culinary Leads.
• Offer a wide range of creating - event signage, menus, F&B collateral, etc.
• Gathering a wealth of Club knowledge to be able to answer internal team questions, and external member questions. This includes website assistance for members
• Point person for creating visuals for various events, along with other administrative and operational support.
• Acts as point staff-liaison with our Women members via a Women's Lounge
• Weekly responsibilities include: printing marketing signage and materials, creating an overview of events and Food & Beverage happenings, creating buffet cards and creative menus, distributing BEO packs
• Daily responsibilities: answering calls, directing guests, stocking a women's area with food & beverage items and supplies + providing upkeep
• Provide Administrative maintenance as needed and other miscellaneous tasks

• Blend multiple teams and outlets
• Create efficiency with this position; be a self-starter and notice opportunities to improve different functions
• Acquire basic food & beverage knowledge -especially when it comes to associated allergens and the impact of dietary restrictions.
