Responsibilities

·       Assist healthcare providers with patient care and clinical duties.

·       Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

·       Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.

·       Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient services.

·       Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

·       Communicate with patients regarding appointments, care instructions, and healthcare services.

·       Provide professional interpretation and communication support for Spanish-speaking patients when needed.

·       Assist with administrative duties, including phone calls, documentation, and coordination of services.

·       Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable privacy and healthcare regulations.

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

·       Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and respect toward patients, families, and coworkers.

·       Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.

Qualifications

·       Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

·       Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency required.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·       Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

·       Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

·       Medical Assistant certification is preferred.

·       Ability to follow instructions and established healthcare procedures.
