Associate Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to manage complex personal injury litigation matters from case intake through trial. This role offers the opportunity to handle high-value cases, represent clients in court, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with an experienced litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation cases from intake through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement demands, and trial documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Develop case strategies through legal research, fact investigation, and evidence analysis.
• Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and evidence organization.

Qualifications

• Active license and good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or general liability.
• Experience handling civil litigation matters through various stages of the legal process.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Trial experience is preferred.
