RETINA SURGEON NEEDED IN NORFOLK, VIRGINIA

This group is a busy, well established group of ophthalmologists, complemented by a staff of eye care professionals to provide multi-specialty services to the Coastal Virginia area. Theyare searching for a fellowship trained, BC/BERetina specialist, interested in anterior segment and cataracts, with exceptional surgical skills and the talent to develop and maintain excellent relationships with theirreferring physicians, as well as functioning comfortably with clinical and surgical demand.

About the Position:

\tImmediate surgical volume: cataract andvitreoretinal proceduresincluding retinal detachment repair, macular surgery, diabetic eye disease, and complex posterior segment cases

\tEstablished referral base withimmediate clinic and OR access
\t
\t
\t1:3 months call rotation (ODs take first call)
\t
\t
\tMentorship and collaboration withnationally recognized subspecialists
\t
\t
\tTeaching, research, and leadership opportunities available
