Direct Support Professional - All Boroughs

Direct Support Professional
The Direct Support Professional will provide adults with developmental disabilities with skills needed for independent living within a supported housing facility, residences, or in-home setting.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid CPR Certification
- One year's experience providing direct services
- SCIP Preferred (Training Offered to Employees)
- Full Covid-19 Vaccination
Responsibilities
- Help adults in activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation and socialization
- Ensure adults nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diet, and assist with feeding
- Help adults in maintaining hygiene (Bathing, Toiletry and Dressing)
- Report any observed types of abuse or neglect and other facility problems
- Other duties as assigned
