Johnsburg School District 12 School Bus Driver - Substitute Job Description Reports To Transportation Director Conditions of Employment Student Present School Days As Needed Qualifications High School diploma/equivalent Valid School Bus Driver Permit (must be 21+) Valid CDL Driver’s License with good driving record Respect confidentiality Must be able to use tact and diplomacy in human relations References must be provided School Bus Driver Tasks Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections - Report maintenance safety issues Maintain cosmetic appearance of bus (swept/dusted/windows/fueled) Maintain student discipline/report improper conduct Check for messages before each shift (mailbox/board/calendar) Follow district transportation policy Perform job according to State Bus Driver Curriculum Annual physical/drug screen – subject to random drug testing Perform all additional tasks as directed by the Transportation Director Promote a positive relationship with students, staff and community Adhere to the district’s expectations with regards to attendance and punctuality #J-18808-Ljbffr
