Recognize ethical and legal responsibilities. Perform a variety of on-site and clinical procedures. Perform a variety of administrative duties.Responsibilities:Provide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients in an on-site setting and a PRIME clinic.Maintains medical supplies inventory, notifies manager when supplines need to be ordered, and performs preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.Verifies patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit at a on-site setting and at a PRIME clinic if needed.Prepares clients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKG's, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary.Assist in injury care when at a PRIME clinic.Perform phlebotomy service and give injections under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records within our electronic system.Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calibration checks.Improves job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.Protects the practice by adhering to professional standards. Updating and filing medical records according to facilities policies/procedures, state, federal/guidelines/regulations/laws.Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership of all performed duties while providing value to the organization.Must have the ability to take on-call on a rotating basis and provide services on-site and clinical after hours.Responsible for setting up and breaking down the on-sitePacking supplies for the scheduled on-siteMay be required to work overtime, weekends and holidaysWill be required to operate your own dependable vehicleMust have active and valid registration, title and insuranceThe ability to drive over 500 miles weekly when neededMust be able to work at various on-site locations and travel to out of state locationsOther duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications/Skills:Must be 21 years or olderProfessionalismConfidentialityAbility to stand or sit for extended periodsAbove average communication skillsUnderstand and maintain HIPAA requirementsMust be able to pass a DISA Drug Screen and Background CheckMust have a valid driver's license as required for the positionReliabilityPatience and compassionPunctualityStress ManagementTeamworkWorking independentlyWorking quickly and accuratelyPreferred but not required to have a TWIC cardEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalentHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant requiredPhysical Demands: Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 100 pounds. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers, copy machines and keyboards. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.Mental Requirements: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with employees and visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.Position Unit: Various PRIME locations and on-site events - Non-Exempt: Hourly
