Director of Sales & Marketing

Build the Commercial Strategy Behind Our Next Stage of Growth

ADi is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead commercial strategy and revenue growth for Automation Displays, Inc. (ADi) and Martin Company, while helping establish the commercial foundation for future acquisitions.

Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the leadership team, this is not a traditional sales management role. We are looking for a strategic commercial leader who can diversify our markets, strengthen strategic customer relationships, build scalable commercial processes, and help determine where we grow next.

What You'll Do

• Lead commercial growth strategy across ADi and Martin Company.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth and expansion into new and adjacent markets.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with strategic customers, OEMs, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Establish disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and business development processes.
• Identify new markets, partnerships, channels, and revenue opportunities.
• Partner directly with the President on strategic growth initiatives and potential acquisitions.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to guide business decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team.
• Build scalable commercial processes before adding headcount.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Estimating, and customer-facing teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Ensure strong execution and handoff from sales opportunity through delivery.
• Help develop marketing, brand positioning, and commercial strategies that support growth.
• Support commercial integration across ADi, Martin Company, and future acquisitions.
• Represent ADi with customers, industry organizations, trade associations, and strategic partners.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience within controls, industrial automation, process automation, building automation, OEM manufacturing, data centers, energy infrastructure, or a related technical industry.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and business diversification.
• Proven experience leading and developing commercial teams while remaining actively engaged with strategic customers and major opportunities.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand control systems, automation solutions, engineered products, and complex customer requirements.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to balance growth, customer needs, operational capabilities, and long-term strategy.
• Executive-level communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and leadership skills.
