Job Description:

Full-Time School LPN - Spanaway, WA Area | $35-$45/hour | Starting October 2026

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a 1-1 Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year in Spanaway, Washington . This is a full-time, in-person 1:1 position serving a student with medical needs starting in October 2026. Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Program nursing/health room (diabetic care experience required)
• Start Date: Mid-October 2026
• School Year: 2026-2027

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing support to student during the school day
• Support student with diabetic care needs and seizure monitoring
• Monitor student's health and respond appropriately to medical needs
• Administer medications and treatments as assigned
• Collaborate with family, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Assist with transportation needs if required by the assignment

What We're Looking For

• Active Washington State LPN license or qualifying multistate nursing license
• Experience supporting children with medical needs preferred
• Specialized nursing experience, such as tracheostomy or G-tube care, may be required for certain assignments
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting and background checks
• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable working in a school environment
