Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room RN will provide acute care to patients in a fast-paced, free-standing emergency and urgent care facility. This role requires delivering high-quality, efficient patient care during day shifts and adapting to the dynamic needs of the ER environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, prioritize, and deliver bedside care to emergency patients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly to emergent situations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, certifications, and facility policies.
• Maintain proficiency with Epic and adhere to all clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Hold a valid SC or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be willing to work 3x12-hour day shifts, including weekends.
• Show ability to float within scope without impacting quality of care.
