Qualifications

• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA) or BLS (ARC). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications CNOR
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Operating Room in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Cerner
• Skills Assessment ORO skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Supervisor references within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I have not requested more than two holidays off during my assignment.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee at this facility in the two years.
• Additional Confirmations I am willing to float
• Additional Confirmations Requires trauma level 1 experience
• Additional Confirmations Laparoscopic assisted cases, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, laparoscopic assisted procedures, mastectomy, thyroidectomy partial/total, and Whipple experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Cervical fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, and lumbar fusion experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release, closed reduction of fractures, and open reduction of fractures experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Free flap - microvascular, organ donation, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, and prostatectomy experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Amputations, gunshot/stab wounds, and MVA (multiple injuries) experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Code response, fire safety, latex allergy, and malignant hyperthermia experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources/cords, and Hana tables experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Administration of blood products, infection control, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedure, and urinary bladder catheterization experience is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 5 days of time off can be requested.
