First Article Inspector (FAI) - Part Time weekend

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing First Article Inspector (FAI) - Part Time Location: South Phoenix - 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 Shift: Part time weekend (Sat-Sun 6am - 2:30pm) Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. Requirements: Minimum 5 years Aerospace experience with First Article/First Piece Inspection is required Strong Hexagon operational CMM experience required Experience with dial bore gages, Mueller gages, indicator mics, Sunnen gages etc. Must be very knowledgeable of GD&T Experience in fast Paced Environment Self-starter and team oriented Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and sit or stand up to 8 hours per day Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to inspect complex geometries on parts Ability to work in an environment with constant industrial noise (machinery, air compressors) and changing temperatures Fine motor skills to calibrate and manipulate precise hand tools (Mueller gages, micrometers, indicators) Strong depth perception to safely operate CMM probes and handle delicate aerospace components Pass vision standards required by AS9100 Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
