About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Manufacturing for its Health and Biosciences Bioactives division. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with a strong background in manufacturing management, safety, sustainability, quality, and supply chain. This role is pivotal in driving the company's strategies through a continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on cost optimization and operational excellence. The VP Manufacturing will be responsible for a large network of sites, ensuring cultural transformation, and must have a good understanding of various business aspects including supply chain management, manufacturing technologies, finance, market dynamics, R&D, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include aligning with the SVP OPS on strategy implementation, leading OpEx initiatives, and executing the manufacturing operations strategy in line with the company's growth plan and customer needs. Applicants for the VP Manufacturing position must have a Master's degree in engineering or manufacturing, at least 15 years' of experience in the field, and a proven track record in implementing operational excellence and business improvement processes. The role requires a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate across functions, and a deep understanding of financial metrics. Experience in global matrixed organizations and a Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification are essential. The ideal candidate will also have a background in complex biotechnology production processes and a demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-performance teams and culture.
