Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,608 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Chicago, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Responsibilities As a Respiratory Therapist, provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications 1 year recent acute care experience preferred; must have 1 year of experience.
