Open up opportunities withHPE.About the Job:The Hardware Fabric Signal engineer will use sophisticated simulation tools and laboratory measurement to design, simulate, validate, debug, and optimize high performance electrical systems. The engineer will work with a diverse team of engineers that support the design, validation, scaling, deployment, and support of industry-leading supercomputer systems. A curious mind and attention to detail are key to success in this role.How You'll Make Your Mark:Design and assess industry-leading 100+ gigabit/s. electrical and optical links and memory interface channelsCreate simulation models, plan and execute simulation suitesCorrelate models to measured laboratory resultsCreate PCB signal integrity design rules, stackup, and connector pinout recommendationsTrack and drive the resolution of electrical issues, execute hands-on testing and debugging to root causeCreate documentation, test plans, and test reportsAbout You:Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.10+ years' experience in High Performance Electrical DesignExperience with Ethernet or Infiniband components and systems, and key performance metricsExperience with Signal IntegrityExperience RF and Microwave design is preferred, but not requiredExperience with 3D Modeling with tools such as HFSS is highly preferredKnowledge and Skills:Experience using electrical design tools and software packages such as Ansoft, HFSS, AllegroKnowledge of signal integrity design conceptsAbility to apply analytical and problem solving skills.Experience in at least one common scripting language is a plus (e.g. perl, bash, Python)Strong written and verbal communication skillsWhat We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
