Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide high-quality physical therapy interventions and rehabilitation services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on implementing established patient care plans, treating patients with varied physical limitations, tracking therapeutic progress, and collaborating within a clinical environment to maximize positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitation treatments and exercises safely per the licensed Physical Therapist's evaluation and care plan.
• Instruct and motivate patients through therapeutic modalities, functional training, and mobility techniques.
• Document clinical encounters accurately , detailing patient progress, responses to therapy treatments, and measurable physiological modifications.
• Maintain precise communications across the interdisciplinary health team regarding changes in patient status or tolerance levels.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience:   Minimum of 1 to 2 years of active clinical experience as a PTA is required.

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted physical therapy assistant license/certification in the State of California.

• Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
