Position: Housekeeper Full-Time Shifts Available

Schedule: Full-time 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (No weekends, No Holidays) within our Independent Living



Pay: $15.75 - $17.75/ hour based on years of experience

Blakehurst is seeking Housekeepers to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the Independent Living Apartments & Common Areas.

Primary Responsibilities Independent Living Apartments:

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, changing bed linen, dusting, trash removal, floor care and other duties as assigned.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Be ready to work and greet everyone with a smile!!!

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we ask about your vaccination status.
