Job Family:Data Science ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking a Data Scientist to join our AI & Data Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect and analyze data to identify trends, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights (Power BI)Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data using a variety of methods and tools, such as RIdentifying and creating additional data visualization capabilities, as neededEnsuring data governance and quality assurance standards are metConducting data validation and remediation using tools such as R and ExcelAnalyzing current process and identifying potential improvementsWorking with team members to summarize and report on business process improvements to include gaps in current processes and initiatives to improve processes for an organizationOrganizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action itemsSummarizing and presenting information and reports to the team and make recommendations (both oral and written)What You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
