In this position, you will work with a team of developers to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions that support business operations. The ideal candidate has strong SuiteScript and JavaScript skills, applies sound software engineering practices, and can translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions. You will be an integral part of our internal systems software engineering team, contributing to design decisions, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing platform improvements.What you do daily:Collaborate with a 100% remote North American teamDevelop and maintain NetSuite customizations, integrations, and automation for internal corporate systemsDesign and build enhancements that meet business needs while maintaining system integrity, security, scalability, and performancePartner with business stakeholders and fellow engineers to clarify requirements, evaluate options, and deliver practical solutionsApply agile development practices to plan, estimate, deliver, and continuously improve team workParticipate in peer code reviews and support consistent engineering standards and best practicesContribute actively in project meetings, raising risks, questions, and improvement opportunitiesWork with team leads and management to improve development processes, tooling, release practices, and support proceduresTroubleshoot application behavior, integration issues, and performance problems; implement durable fixesConsider the full software lifecycle through planning, design, code review, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenanceMaintain clear, current documentation for code, customizations, integrations, processes, and support proceduresFocus primarily on development, with limited production support and break/fix work for escalated issuesWhat makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience4+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on NetSuite developmentStrong JavaScript development skills and practical experience with software design, debugging, testing, source control, and release workflowsStrong hands-on experience developing with SuiteScript 2.1/2.x; familiarity with legacy SuiteScript 1.0 is a plusExperience with common NetSuite script types, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, and Workflow Action scriptsExperience building and consuming REST-based integrations, including NetSuite REST web services and/or RESTletsWorking knowledge of NetSuite records, saved searches and/or SuiteQL, roles and permissions, script governance, and performance best practicesExperience using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), SuiteCloud CLI or equivalent deployment tooling, and Git-based source controlProven ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teamsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development environmentNetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification or other relevant NetSuite certification is a plus$90,000 - $105,000 a year Benefits: We offer a competitive benefit package for full-time employees that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company paid Life Insurance Voluntary supplemental life insurance Flexible spending account Health savings account Non-accrued PTO Short- and Long-Term Disability Company paid holidays 401k Retirement Plan with employer match Mental Wellness Benefits Tuition Reimbursement Paid Parental Leave Employee Discount Marketplace Employee Recognition Platform Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
