Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans. \n Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the patient's progress is documented and discussed in team meetings. \n Provide detailed schedules to supervisors regarding appointments and home visits, allowing for effective monitoring of your case load. \n Coordinate home visits as necessary, conducting chart reviews and staff interviews to ensure compliance with individual needs and program requirements. \n Implement and monitor program plans, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are effective and align with each patient’s goals. \n Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights on client treatments and program improvements. \n Write and submit monthly and quarterly progress notes, evaluating patient outcomes and adjusting care plans accordingly. \n Provide training to staff on the implementation of program plans and documentation standards, fostering a collaborative learning environment. \n Maintain organized records to ensure that data is accessible for audits and future treatment planning. \n Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and the mental health community to advocate for patient needs and support their recovery journeys. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including both adults and youth, who present various mental health challenges. You will be equipped to provide specialized care tailored to individual circumstances, whether that includes family therapy, trauma recovery, or substance abuse treatment. Your insights and interventions will directly influence the well-being of our patients, guiding them toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. \n An active and unrestricted Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California. \n At least 2 years of clinical counseling experience, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a mental health setting. \n A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating connection and trust with clients from various backgrounds. \n Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. \n Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions. \n A background in community mental health settings, providing care to underserved populations. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
