Job Summary
The Director of RGH Children's Alliance provides strategic, operational, financial, and administrative leadership for Roosevelt General Hospital's Children's Alliance, including the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and the Community-Based Prevention, Intervention, and Reunification (CBPIR) Program serving Roosevelt, Curry, DeBaca, Harding, and Quay Counties. The Director provides leadership for program development, multidisciplinary collaboration, staff supervision, grant administration, quality improvement, accreditation, regulatory compliance, fiscal management, and community engagement while ensuring trauma-informed, child-focused, and family-centered services.
Children's Alliance is a department of Roosevelt General Hospital (RGH) and operates under the governance, administrative oversight, policies, strategic direction, and operational standards established by RGH. The Director is responsible for ensuring that all RGH Children's Alliance programs, services, staff, partnerships, communications, and funding activities remain aligned with the mission, vision, values, strategic priorities, and policies of RGH.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight
The Director serves as a member of the Roosevelt General Hospital leadership team and is responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership for Children's Alliance in alignment with Roosevelt General Hospital's mission, values, and strategic priorities.
- Developing departmental goals, operational plans, and performance measures.
- Promoting collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
- Participating in hospital leadership activities, committees, and organizational initiatives.
- Fostering effective communication and collaboration across Roosevelt General Hospital and community partners.
Program Operations
- Direct the daily operations of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and Community-Based Prevention, Intervention, and Reunification (CBPIR) programs.
- Ensure timely, trauma-informed, family-centered services through effective coordination of advocacy, forensic interviews, counseling, prevention, and reunification services.
- Maintain efficient operations, staffing, policies, facilities, and resources while identifying opportunities for program growth and service improvement.
Multidisciplinary Team Leadership
- Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary team to ensure collaborative, child-centered case management.
- Maintain strong partnerships with law enforcement, CYFD, prosecutors, healthcare providers, schools, behavioral health providers, and community organizations.
- Develop and maintain interagency protocols and collaborative agreements.
Quality, Compliance, and Accreditation
- Ensure compliance with National Children's Alliance Standards, CYFD grant requirements, Roosevelt General Hospital policies, HIPAA, and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accreditation readiness through quality improvement, performance monitoring, internal audits, documentation oversight, and corrective action planning.
Financial and Grant Administration
- Develop and manage departmental and grant-funded budgets.
- Administer grant applications, reporting, compliance, and financial stewardship in collaboration with Roosevelt General Hospital leadership.
- Identify funding opportunities that support the long-term sustainability of Children's Alliance.
Staff Leadership
- Recruit, develop, supervise, and evaluate Children's Alliance staff.
- Promote professional development, employee engagement, teamwork, accountability, and a trauma-informed workplace culture.
Community Relations and Program Development
- Represent Children's Alliance and Roosevelt General Hospital through community partnerships, education, and outreach.
- Strengthen relationships with local, regional, and state partners while identifying opportunities for program growth and service enhancement.
Non-Essential Functions

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in child advocacy, behavioral health, healthcare, social services, or related field.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing grants and budgets.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred
- Master's degree.
- Child Advocacy Center leadership experience.
- Grant writing experience.
- Experience with National Children's Alliance Accreditation.
- Experience with CYFD-funded programs.

Physical Requirements
- Work is performed during regular work hours, but may after hours to meet deadlines
- Work in varying degrees of temperature (heated or air conditioned)

- Position requires sitting for approximately 4-6 hours per day and walking for 2 hours per day
- Position requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry
- Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing
