Social Media Manager

Overview Black Box is hiring on behalf of Red Roze Records for a creative, organized, and culturally in-tune Social Media Manager to oversee and execute social media content for pop artist Izza. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and requires someone who lives and breathes social media, understands fan culture, and can capture Izza’s personality into engaging content across platforms. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc) consistent with the artist’s brand Develop and execute frequent posting schedule, ensuring fresh, creative and engaging content is posted often Film, edit, and post photo and video content for each platform Film BTS (behind-the-scenes) footage, candid moments, and day‑to‑day lifestyle content of the artist Capture spontaneous, authentic content that resonates with fans and reflects current trends Engage actively with fans by responding to comments and messages with the artist’s voice in mind Prepare the artist for creative shoots by ideating and executing on social content ideas Consistently feed the artist with new, timely, creative ideas for social media Work with other creators on the team to develop a visual style Monitor social trends and adapt content strategies to stay relevant Collaborate closely with the artist to brainstorm, plan, and execute creative content ideas Assist in building and maintaining a strong, loyal online fanbase through meaningful interaction while maintaining the artist’s narrative and brand Analyze metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and growth Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in managing social media accounts Strong understanding of major platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube Experience in photo and video editing tools (CapCut, Photoshop, etc) Skilled in creating engaging, creative, short‑form video content, including transitions, and trend‑based formats Ability to shoot high‑quality content using an iPhone or camera Understanding of internet culture, trends, and fan engagement strategy Strong communication skills and a personable online presence Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility and creativity Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction and contribute ideas Chronically online and invested in your relevant pop artists' fan communities Organized, a self‑starter, and have excellent time management skills Additional Notes This role requires frequent in‑person interaction with Izza to capture content and collaborate creatively. Flexibility in schedule is important, as content opportunities may arise at any time without a lot of notice.
