** Job Summary: **
We are seeking a and detail-oriented Assistant Estimator and Materials Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing material lists with accurate pricing and ensuring smooth operations for our projects and customers. This role involves working closely with the Estimator to help aid with projected material counts and accurate costs for current bids and ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate plumbing material lists to aid the Estimator, including pipe, fittings, valves, and fixtures. Must have knowledge of translating 2D blueprints into full material lists from start to finish
• Collaborate with suppliers for quotations on projects and assist Estimator with pricing input into proposals
• Coordinate materials with specifications and submittal documents
• Assist in Submittals, organize revisions and provide closeout submittals at completion of projects
• Assist in troubleshooting material-related issues on job sites
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Plumbing and construction knowledge is a must
• Strong understanding of plumbing materials and their applications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage inventory systems
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, and understanding of plumbing systems and components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
