Direct Care Registered Nurse

Overview Sentara Medical Group Cardiology Specialists are now hiring a Full-Time Direct Care Registered Nurse at the Williamsburg, VA location! All qualified candidates can receive up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus. City/State: Williamsburg, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p or 8:30a-5p, Dayshift. In‑Office, No nights, holidays or weekends! Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include: Conduct thorough assessments and design & implement personalized care plans. Administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses to interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care. Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions. Utilize clinical judgment to address complex health situations, consult with medical team, and document care per regulatory and organizational standards. Qualifications Diploma RN/ADN/BSN/MSN. RN license in Virginia or Compact/Multistate. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS required after hire. Clinical experience preferred; no new grads.
