Adjunct Faculty Open Rank – School of Business Lehman College of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a Hispanic Serving Institution located in the Bronx. We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business, Management, and Finance starting in Fall 2026. Responsibilities Adjunct faculty are primarily responsible for teaching assigned courses using an experiential, applied learning approach. They will integrate real‑world data, case‑based instruction, and hands‑on tools into the classroom to enhance student engagement and career readiness. Additional responsibilities may include holding office hours, participating in departmental meetings, and supporting student learning. Courses may include (but are not limited to): Principles of Finance, Corporate Finance, Investments, and Financial Markets (undergraduate and graduate); Principles of Management, Strategic Management, International Business, Business Law, Labor Relations, Organizational Behavior (undergraduate and graduate); Human Resource Management (undergraduate and graduate). Qualifications For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field or equivalent and demonstrated ability to teach successfully at the college level. For Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach successfully. Compensation Adjunct faculty are compensated on a per‑course basis in accordance with the PSC CUNY collective bargaining agreement. Current rates range from $112.50 to $137.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Application Process Candidates should provide a CV/resume and statement of scholarly interests.
