The Role

• Provide internal medicine consultations and manage complex small animal cases from intake to follow-up
• Lead comprehensive diagnostic workups using on-site imaging and in-house laboratory resources
• Oversee and support hospitalized cases, collaborating closely with emergency and specialty services
• Deliver clear, compassionate client communication and coordinate with referring veterinarians

Requirements

• DVM/VMD or equivalent
• Board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine or residency-trained and board-eligible
• License to practice veterinary medicine in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
• DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills
