US|IT-Business Analysis IIJob#: 3056370Job Description:IT-Business Analysis IILocation: Houston, Texas (On-site)Role OverviewThe Corporate Affairs Digital Platform team is seeking a Product Owner to translate business needs into clearly defined, prioritized work and drive day-to-day delivery. This position partners with IT, vendors, and business users on solution design, integrations, and releases. The focus is on execution and coordination, supporting trade-off discussions, keeping work aligned with agreed product priorities, and configuring communications and marketing technologies when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for enhancing existing applications or introducing new technology.Translate the product vision and roadmap into a prioritized backlog in Azure DevOps with clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.Drive delivery through Agile sprint ceremonies, including backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and accept delivered work against agreed criteria.Configure, troubleshoot, and document communications and marketing technology platforms to maintain reliability.Partner with technical teams on architecture, integrations, APIs, environments, release management, and security reviews.Manage SaaS vendors, track product roadmaps, and support procurement on licensing and renewals.Utilize artificial intelligence tools daily to accelerate research, analysis, requirements gathering, and prototyping.Lead change management and training initiatives to support technology deployment and user adoption.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, communications, or a related field is preferred.Experience: Five or more years of experience in product ownership, web development, software engineering, or business analysis. Consistent tenure with previous employers is required.Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, content management systems, APIs, and integrations. Practical experience managing backlogs and user stories within Azure DevOps is required. Daily proficiency with Microsoft Copilot or similar large language model tools is necessary.Preferred QualificationsExperience with marketing and communications technologies such as Marketo, Sitecore, or Monday.com.Experience building solutions with Copilot Studio or Power Platform.Knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, and search engine optimization.Product ownership certification such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe POPM.Prior experience within the oil and gas industry.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
