Locums - Towson, Maryland - Hematology/Oncology NP/PA Job Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Urgent coverage need

• Assignment begins as soon as credentialed and is ongoing

• Client prefers one full-time provider but will consider two part-time providers to meet coverage needs

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

• No call

• Adult patients only

• Preferred experience in any of the following fields:

  • Hematology/Oncology

  • Oncology

  • Internal Medicine

  • Hospital Medicine

• Responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive patient assessments

  • Diagnosis and management of hematology and oncology patients

  • New and follow-up patient evaluations

  • Development and implementation of treatment plans

  • Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies

  • Monitoring patients receiving chemotherapy and other therapies

  • Patient and family education

• EMR: Epic Beacon
