We are looking for a highly creative, trend‑aware, and execution‑focused Senior Social Content Creator to lead the creation of social‑first content across all major platforms. Role Overview The Senior Social Content Creator will be responsible for owning the creation and execution of Persona’s day‑to‑day social content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. This role is heavily focused on hands‑on content creation and production. The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in beauty and culture, understands what performs organically on social platforms, and can independently concept, shoot, edit, and deliver high‑performing content at a fast pace. This person should have strong visual taste, understand how to make premium beauty content feel native to social platforms, and be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera when needed. The Senior Social Content Creator will work closely with the social and community team, founders, and paid media team. Responsibilities Content Creation & Production Concept, shoot, edit, and produce daily short‑form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms Create highly engaging beauty content including tutorials, GRWMs, product education, trend‑driven videos, founder content, BTS, campaign support, and social‑first storytelling Translate product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives into compelling social content Capture both polished and lo‑fi content styles depending on platform and creative objective Maintain a high volume of content output while ensuring strong creative quality and brand consistency Editing & Platform Optimization Edit short‑form videos optimized for engagement, retention, watch time, and conversion Stay ahead of evolving platform trends, sounds, editing styles, hooks, and storytelling formats Adapt creative quickly based on performance insights and platform behavior Understand how to create content that feels organic to TikTok and Reels while maintaining Persona’s premium aesthetic Creative Collaboration Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to execute the broader social content strategy Collaborate with influencer, paid media, and creative teams to support campaigns and product launches Help source content ideas, trend opportunities, and creative concepts on an ongoing basis Assist in organizing content shoots, creator sessions, and product‑focused filming days Content Ownership & Organization Own content production timelines and asset delivery Maintain organized libraries of footage, edits, and social assets Help establish scalable systems for content creation and production workflows Support rapid‑turn creative requests for launches, retail moments, and viral opportunities Qualifications 4+ years of experience creating social‑first content for beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands Strong portfolio showcasing TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short‑form video work Expert‑level understanding of TikTok and Instagram content trends and platform behavior Strong video shooting and editing skills Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing platforms Strong creative instincts with an eye for composition, lighting, pacing, and storytelling Comfortable filming both products and talent Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced, founder‑led environment Highly organized, proactive, and self‑directed Preferred Experience Beauty industry experience strongly preferred Experience working with founder‑led or creator‑led brands Comfortable being on camera when needed Photography and lighting experience is a plus Experience creating content that has driven strong organic performance or paid ad success Familiarity with TikTok Shop and social commerce ecosystems Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Healthcare Paid time off + paid sick time 401(k) Employee product allowance and discounts Opportunity to grow with a fast‑scaling independent beauty brand Why Join Persona Work directly with founders and have meaningful creative ownership Help shape the visual and social identity of a fast‑growing beauty brand Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and highly creative work environment Opportunity to create impactful content seen by millions across social platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr Persona Cosmetics
