We are seeking a fast, detail-oriented, and resilient Sales Support Specialist to join our Appleton client's team in a fast-paced manufacturing and shipping environment. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the sales team and shipping/logistics operations. You will be responsible for high-volume order processing, precise numeric data entry into our ERP system, calculating shipment parameters, and managing rapid order flow under strict daily shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities


• Order Processing & ERP Entry: Input, update, and manage high volumes of customer orders and pick tickets in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system quickly and accurately.

• Logistics & Shipment Calculations: Read and interpret pick tickets and customer specifications; organize orders into cartons, pallets, and skids; and calculate shipment dimensions, gross weight, and net weight.

• Deadline Management: Monitor and meet multiple daily shipping windows, ensuring order processing deadlines are consistently met without sacrificing accuracy.

• Dynamic Problem Solving & Multitasking: Handle walk-up inquiries and walk-in same-day orders from sales representatives, quickly process new information, re-prioritize urgent requests, and smoothly resume in-progress order entries.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate regularly with internal sales, warehouse staff, and freight carriers to resolve order discrepancies and ensure timely shipment execution.

Qualifications

• ERP & Logistics Experience: 1-2+ years of experience using an ERP system within a manufacturing, logistics, shipping, or supply chain environment. Experience with Aptean WorkWise is a strong plus, though experience with similar ERP platforms will be considered.

• High-Speed Data Entry: Proven numeric data entry speed, ideally in the range of 10,000-12,000 Keystrokes Per Hour (KPH), with a verified high rate of accuracy when handling long numeric strings.

• Practical Logistics Knowledge: Solid understanding of order staging (cartons, pallets, skids) and the ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations for shipment weights and dimensions.

• Thriving Under Pressure: Demonstrated ability to remain organized, focused, and calm in a fast-paced environment with continuous order arrivals and recurring daily shipping cutoffs.

• Context-Switching & Attention to Detail: Exceptional task-switching skills-able to hold your place during interruptions, resolve incoming requests, and return to complex data strings without missing a beat.
