Job Details Job Location: Chase Arbor – VIRGINIA BEACH, VA 23462 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: $28.00 – $30.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Responsibilities Perform ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best. Address work orders promptly using four-plus years of experience in property maintenance, light carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and HVAC systems. Use relevant certifications (EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing) to handle more complex repair and maintenance work. Proactively address routine maintenance and general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse. Engage with residents in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring resident satisfaction. Maintain a safe working environment for the team and a safe living environment for residents. Work full‑time Monday through Friday, with occasional on‑call hours as set by the Property Management team. Maintain own tool kit and use company‑owned or personal vehicle when required; must have a valid driver’s license. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality. Technical degree in a related area of study or relevant certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) preferred. Prior experience in general building maintenance, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair. At least 18 years of age. Own tools and valid driver’s license to operate company‑owned vehicles or personal vehicle for work. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail, strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to function in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical Requirements Expected work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, plus scheduled on‑call hours and occasional weekends. Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds. Perform tasks requiring use of hands, tools, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling in various weather conditions.
