Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting. Experience with trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgery cases preferred.
• Experience using Cerner for charting preferred.
• Ability to work call shifts as required by the unit. Call schedule may include one weekly call shift and weekend coverage; call shifts typically follow 2300-0700 weekday pattern and weekend shifts that may include 0630-1500, 1500-2300, or 2300-0700 rotations.
• Willingness to orient for up to 12 hours as required by the facility.
• Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment.

• Call Requirement: Call required. Weekend call coverage expected every other weekend.
• Orientation: 12 hours.
• Common case mix: Trauma, Orthopedics, Vascular, General surgery.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
