Laboratory Technician

Eurofins seeks a laboratory technician in Mequon, Wisconsin to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques and EPA methodology. The role involves routine lab tasks, instrument operation, data recording, and compliance with quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples using standard techniques and EPA methodology
• Perform chemical analyses and data calculations on prepared samples
• Record and report analytical results and any anomalies to supervisors
• Conduct routine instrument maintenance and operation on complex analytical equipment
• Aliquot and weigh samples; maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred
• 1-2 years laboratory experience preferred; willing to train qualified candidates
• Proficiency in mathematics and ability to use calculators and standard analytical techniques
• Experience or ability to learn organic, metals, and high/low resolution preparation and analysis
• Capacity to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions
• Professional English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
• Unrestricted authorization to work indefinitely in the United States

Compensation: $20.00/hr starting rate, based on experience
