We currently have an opportunity for a Production Sanitation Technician at our Manufacturing Plant in Huntersville, NC.DAY SHIFT HOURS (8 Hour Shift)ResponsibilitiesThe Production Sanitation Technician maintains cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and facility conditions throughout the plant to support a safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing environment. The position performs scheduled sanitation maintenance, minor facility maintenance, equipment cleaning, material removal, ergonomic mat maintenance, and exterior facility upkeep. The role works independently within established requirements, uses Company equipment safely and efficiently, and responds flexibly to non-routine cleaning and special projects as business needs arise.You Will Have the Opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!Sanitation & Facility MaintenanceConduct maintenance on a prescribed schedule of the main production/support areas including cleaning of building walls/ceilings, overhead pipes, and production equipment using approved provided tools and equipment such as scissor lifts.Remove and dispose of undesired packaging material, tape, and temporary repairs throughout the plant.Dust and polish production equipment.Maintain/Replace ergonomic mats for production employees.Maintain the exterior of the facility with scheduled yard cleanings.Safety & HousekeepingUltimately, you will accomplish tasks through the safe and efficient use of Company equipment when necessary, using the application of all company required good housekeeping practices.Perform housekeeping duties and some facility maintenance duties including minor repairs throughout the plant.Accomplish non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.You Will Love It Here If…You put safety first, alwaysYou listen, learn, and evolveYou are passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and achieving shared goalsYou treat all people with respect, operating ethically, and embrace inclusivityYou are committed to improving our impact on local communitiesRequirementsEducation/ExperienceRequiredTwo (2) years of experience in sanitation maintenance.One (1) year of experience operating lift equipment including scissor-lifts and articulating boom lifts.One (1) year of experience operating forklifts.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesComfortable working at all heights.Detail-orientated, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.Ability to complete tasks and forms.CompetenciesAction Oriented – Completes sanitation, housekeeping, and facility maintenance activities efficiently and responds appropriately to changing work requirements.Collaborates – Works effectively with others to maintain clean, safe, and productive plant conditions.Communicates Effectively – Clearly communicates work activities, needs, and relevant information to support effective plant operations.Customer Focus – Maintains facility and production areas in a manner that supports the needs of production employees and plant operations.Ensures Accountability – Completes assigned activities and maintains established housekeeping and safety expectations.Self-Development – Builds and applies the knowledge and capabilities needed to perform sanitation maintenance and facility support responsibilities effectively.Want to know more?
