Recruiter Contact: Jacob Braithwaite As a Plant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in our commitment to excellence in the production of industrial gases and related products. Your responsibilities will include supporting and coordinating the activities of plant operators who produce and repackage compressed and liquid gases. Key Responsibilities Ensure safe, organized, and efficient plant operations. Maintain adherence to company safety protocols. Operate equipment for repackaging and analyzing gases according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Keep accurate records and manage training within the production facility. Guide plant employees in meeting customer needs and fostering a collaborative environment. Perform regular inspections and maintenance on filling equipment and monitoring devices. Administer performance standards to ensure team alignment and effectiveness. Manage the loading and unloading of cylinders, documenting types and quantities as needed. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or relevant technical certification. A minimum of 2 years' leadership experience in a distribution setting. Experience with compressed gases and gas lab equipment. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize metrics to enhance production efficiency. Experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. We care for our Airgas Families.
