OverviewPosition Summary MCDC is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead the strategic direction and oversight of clinical operations, systems, patient communications, and scheduling across our 28-center network. MCDC offers the chance to shape operations at scale, partner with dedicated clinical and administrative leaders, and make a lasting community impact.ResponsibilitiesTypical Duties and ResponsibilitiesPartner with the executive team to advance MCDC's mission of enhancing community health by expanding access to quality dental care for all.Set the strategic direction and oversight of clinical management, systems, patient communications, and scheduling across all centers.Develop and execute operational strategies that drive company goals, growth objectives, and continuous improvement.Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, and IT to ensure seamless integration of new systems and initiatives.Lead initiatives that enhance the patient experience, streamline operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing clinical management team, including regional and office managers.Own practice-level budget targets, partnering with Finance to monitor performance, achieve P&L and cash flow goals, and identify growth opportunities.Build and develop high-performing regional teams and champion a culture of accountability, integrity, and service excellence.Support MCDC's risk management, compliance, and patient retention and growth initiatives.Participate in executive strategic planning at the corporate level.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities A strategic visionary with sound management and technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.A good educator, who is trustworthy, has strong interpersonal skills and is willing to share information and serve as a mentor.Successful record of effective communication including, but not limited to, public speaking.Demonstrable experience and a working knowledge of business metrics.QualificationsJob Specifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).5+ years of experience in dental practice management or operations, including experience in a multi-location setting (7+ locations).Strong knowledge of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, billing, and insurance processes.A proven track record of leading high-performing teams and implementing operational strategies that drive growth and efficiency.Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data.Familiarity with dental industry regulations and compliance requirements.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization.Job SummaryID: 2026-2545Category: ManagementType: Regular Full-Time
