This 150-bed inpatient facility in Burlington, Iowa maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology services on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate 24-hour call-based cardiac care delivery, with emergency privileges available and a support team that includes 1 interventional cardiologist, 2 general cardiologists, and 2 APPs. Two permanent interventional cardiologists are scheduled to join the team, providing additional clinical continuity for cardiac care delivery.

Burlington, Iowa is a riverfront city that offers clinicians on assignment a range of community and cultural activities throughout the year. The area features recurring events such as farmers markets, classic car cruise nights along Jefferson Street, and farm-based markets at local heritage properties. Clinicians may also find networking events, arts exhibitions, and family-focused programming across the downtown area and surrounding community.

The interventional cardiologist will provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage on-site at this 150-bed facility in Burlington, Iowa. Clinical responsibilities include performing diagnostic catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), with Impella, IVUS, intra-aortic balloon pump, and Rotational Atherectomy (Rota) available for use. Emergency privileges are available as part of this assignment. Call coverage is a required component, and clinicians must maintain continuous availability to respond to inpatient cardiac cases and perform procedures as credentialed by the facility.
